Jeffrey Thomas Garey, 59, of Wichita Falls, TX passed away on February 25, 2021.

Visitation will be held from 6-7pm Wednesday March 3, 2021 at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. There will be a private Requiem Mass held at St. John the Divine Anglican Church for the family on Thursday March 4, 2021 at 10 AM. The mass will be broadcast via Facebook Live for those who will be unable to attend.

Jeff was born on August 31, 1961 in Fort Meade, Maryland to Tom and the late Sarah Garey. As a young man he enjoyed traveling around the world with his family until settling in Wichita Falls. He married Kristy Gunn Garey on July 16, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV.

He loved his family and taught them how to be strong and work hard in life. He loved music and appreciated a great concert. If you knew Jeff, you know that by the end of October through December, Christmas light displays consumed his time and work hours. The joy those lights created were a great source of enjoyment for everyone and made his family so proud. His big smile and silly selfies to his children will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Jeff was taken from us far too soon after a brief and difficult battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He bravely fought every step of the way and refused to give up. He passed away peacefully listening to his favorite music surrounded by his loving family.

Survivors include his wife, Kristy Gunn Garey; Children, Veronique Davidson and husband James, Joshua Garey and wife Mandi, Ashley Garey, Chance Garey, Tristan Koenig, and Zane Garey; Grandchildren, Mason, Sarah, Jocelyn, Elizabeth, and Ellie; Father, Thomas Garey and wife Susan; Sister, Beth Garey Fancher and Husband Eric; along with multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah (Haynie) Garey and sister, Renee (Garey) Rogers. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hospice of Wichita Falls or American Cancer Society.
