Jennifer Renee Lavender, 47, of Wichita Falls, is now at peace and went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17th at Lunn's. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18th at Grace Church with Joe Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Jennifer was born on November 11, 1977, to Mary Marie (Cohn) and Ray Alan Cannedy. Jennifer graduated from Cameron University with an associate degree and a bachelor's degree in accounting. She started her career off aiding her family business, Ray Cannedy Security, as a manager, private investigator, and licensed instructor in the private security industry. She had a very successful career as manager for a work at home program for a successful company. She served as a financial auditor at Fort Sill Army Base in Lawton, Oklahoma. She loved shopping, her family and her pets.  She had a very charismatic personality and was very supportive of people in need. She effortlessly became a cherished part of her group, where she was loved by everyone. To reunite with family, she recently moved back to Wichita Falls where she was greatly involved with her groups at Grace Church. She made many new friends with a Christian Motorcycle Club where she attended many activities.

Jennifer was married to her high school sweetheart, Jerry Dwayne Lavender, on November 18, 1995, until his death on December 24, 2020. Together they had two children: Angelica (Angel) Rain Lavender and Bryan Alan Lavender, who were raised with love, kindness, and a deep appreciation of life.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Dwayne Lavender, her father Ray Alan Cannedy, her uncles Rod Cannedy, James Cannedy, and Robert Cannedy, her aunt Phyllis Cohn Little, her grandparents Jimmy D. and Myrtle Cohn, Orbie Cannedy, and Joy and Loyd Harris.

She is survived by her daughter Angel, son Bryan and his significant other Yijia (Violet) Xiong, mother and stepfather Mary and Jim Seigler, and grandmother Faye Cannedy VonTungln. She is also survived by her brother Alan Carroll Cannedy, and sisters Christina Cannedy, Tami Lemons, and Michelle Pace. She is also survived by her sweetheart James Moore and Brianna Tyler, who considered Jennifer her second mother. She will be missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
