Jerry D. McGee, 67, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11th at Lunn’s. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12th at 10th & Broad Church of Christ with Ken Holsberry officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Red Top Cemetery in Young County, under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

The son of the late Evelyn Fay (Robinson) and Ernest Dean McGee, Jerry was born on December 16, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Midwestern State University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He married his sweetheart Lisa shortly after and started a beautiful life together. Jerry was a man who believed in serving others in every part of his life.

As an elder in the church, he faithfully served his church family with wisdom, kindness, and a genuine love for people. His faith was not simply something he talked about—it was something he lived, and he tried to lead by example. Through his accounting practice, Gant, McGee and Baber, Jerry also had the opportunity to serve and help countless people. He built his practice through hard work, honesty, and relationships, earning the trust of the people he worked with. To him, they were never just clients—they were people he cared about and wanted to help. Jerry was a faithful servant, a trusted professional, and, most importantly, a man who cared deeply about others and the community. Jerry had a love for travel and would often try to catch the Texas Rangers playing on the road. He was unwavering in his faith and love for the Lord. Jerry loved his people well, whether it was family, friends or clients.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lisa McGee; daughter, Jenna and husband, Jerry Yaggi; daughter, Matty and husband, Bryce Hyatt; grandchildren Jordan Yaggi, Caleb Yaggi, Eli Yaggi, Dean Davis, MilaYaggi, Cambri Hyatt and Carsyn Hyatt; sister Nancy (McGee) Pearce; niece Erin Webb and husband Philip; and nephew Cullen Pearce.
