Jewel D. Williams, 93, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Lunn's Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Luevenia (Elliott) and Horace Wherry, Jewel was born on January 16, 1928, in DeKalb, Texas. Jewel was a homemaker and a caretaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a sassy woman who loved getting dressed up and wearing her fine jewelry. She was a Baptist and believed in God. She enjoyed good road trips and going to the casino.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by seven siblings; 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

She is survived by her brother, Roberta Wherry and Herman; Betty; children, Carl (Brent), Gloria, Carolyn, Maggie, Shirley, Rosalind, Karla and Doretha; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great-great-great-grandchildren.
