Jimmy Clifton McDaniel, 82, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026 following a brief illness.

A  Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Crestview Memorial Park in the Garden of the Cross with Logan Pipes officiating, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Edgemere Church of Christ followed by lunch with the family in the fellowship hall.

Jimmy was born Feb 12, 1944 in Wichita Falls, TX. One of nine children he was a loving brother and devoted son who cared for his mother until her death in 1992.

Jimmy married the love of his life Alice McNeill on August 31, 1991. The couple made their home in Wichita Falls where they continued to live for the next 34 years.

Jimmy was a long-time member of Edgemere Church of Christ where he served for many years as a part of the prison ministry and participated in men's ministry events such as the men's prayer breakfast.

Until his health declined, Jimmy was a hard worker who has worked in a variety of career fields over the years including 25+ years at Tranter, Inc. as a die setter. Following his retirement, Jimmy worked at Pizza Hut and Sonic in an effort to stay active and earn extra income.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Shelby & Inez McDaniel, sisters Betty Bohn, Mitzi Robinson and Della Henderson, Barbara McDaniel, brothers Robert McDaniel and Gerald McDaniel, brothers-in-law Dale Bohn, Bob Robinson, David Manley and Stan Dixon, sister-in-law Judy McDaniel.  He is survived by his wife Alice McDaniel, step-daughter Mari Jo Crouse (Lance Crouse), grandchildren Lance Crouse II and Caitlyn Crouse, sisters Jo Manley and Ann Dixon along with many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
