Jo Ann Parker Caddell, 81, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, with her children by her side. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Jo was born on April 3, 1942, in Wichita Falls to Ward and Evelyn (Hemme) Parker. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1960. She then went on to marry and had two sons. Jo was a devoted housewife and mother before entering the workforce in the 70's. She remarried later and had a daughter and was always hard-working and dedicated to taking care of her children as a single mother for most of her life. After a long career in bookkeeping, Jo retired in 2002.

Jo enjoyed cookouts with family, several years in a bowling league with friends and going on trips. She was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and an avid sports fan. Whether it be her kids' teams, grandkids' teams or her favorite Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers teams, she would be cheering loud and proud. She also loved watching golf and tennis on TV. Between all of the sports her boys played, her daughter's cheerleading and 10 grandkids' sports over a 50 year span, she easily attended thousands of games. She rarely ever missed a game until she was no longer physically able. After her retirement, Jo spent a lot of her time with her grandkids, monthly lunches with her high school girlfriends and going on cruises with her longtime best friend of 30 years, Don. She was fondly known by many names over the years, including JoJo, Mama Jo and Gramie.

Jo is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Stampfli; and best friend, Don Walker.

Jo is survived by her children, Mark McQuerry and wife Lorie; Matt McQuerry and wife Michelle; and Tara Morgan and husband Chris, all of Wichita Falls; niece, Staci Jo Stampfli and son D.J. Edwards; nephew Lance Stampfli, and step-daughter Julee Austin and husband Sam, all of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Jesse Harris, Josh Harris and wife Cheyenne; Jordan McQuerry and wife Katelyn; Tristan McQuerry, Samuel McQuerry, Jared McQuerry, Aiden McQuerry, Meritt Morgan, Axton Morgan and Evalie Morgan, all of Wichita Falls; five great grandchildren, Kinsley, Colton, Cohen, Cadyn and Cannon; and numerous cousins and great friends.
