John E. Lewallen , 82, of Wichita Falls, passed away on February 25, 2024.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 28th at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Texas, with Reverend Ricky Kirkland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late IB and Hazel Lewallen, John was born on August 20, 1941, in Seymour, Texas. John was the owner of Lewallen welding in Holliday, Texas, and was involved in the ranching industry.

John was preceded in death by, his mother and father; and sisters, Marylou Scribner and Dora Davis.

John is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughter, Charlette Kirkland; grandson, Hoss Barnes; sister, Betty Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
