Joseph Christopher "Chris" King, 83, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1st at Agape Church, 5600 Burkburnett Road, Wichita Falls, Texas, with Pastor Daniel and Dr. Paula Burt officiating.

A son of the late Grace (Ewing) and Vaughter King, Chris was born on March 29, 1939, in Megargel, Texas, where he graduated from high school. He attended Midwestern State University, then went to work for the city of Wichita Falls. Later, Chris married Mary Ann Vance, the love of his life. He became owner-operator of Wichita Wood, Etn. and has brought honesty and integrity to the business community for nearly 50 years. As a hard-working businessman, Chris also leaves behind a legacy of great compassion, integrity and love for God and family.

Along with his parents, Chris was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; and sister, Mary Pope.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph King and wife, Cindy; and John King; step-daughter, Donna Rogers; long-time family friend, Louise Brock; grandchildren, Christa (Chris) Leveque; Andrew (Stacey) King; Steven King, Mark Rogers, Paul Daniel Rogers, Krisanne Hale; and many great-grandchildren; and brother, James King.
