Mr. JR "Huel" Kuykendall, age 74, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away Sunday March 3, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Pastors Tommy Free and Carlos Gonzalez officiating. The visitation will occur prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m.

JR was born on August 4, 1949, in Fairburn, Georgia, to the late Huel and Mildred Kuykendall.

JR is preceded in death by his two sisters, Patricia Priest and Lynn Kirby; and great-granddaughter, Abigail Saldana.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Jones Kuykendall; his daughter, Tracy Dawn Humphrey and her husband, Kevin; his son, Scott Bright and his wife, Michele; grandchildren, Ashley Saldana and husband Mario; Tanner Bosley; Elisa Uribe and her husband, Mark; Garrett Bosley; Emma Bright; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Saldana; Athena Uribe; MJ Saldana; Aaron Saldana; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76310; or to Meals on Wheels (Wichita County), 1000 Burnett St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301.
