Born Jan 23, 1946 in Santa Monica, California to Hobart Baker Morse and Myrna Musser Morse. As a child she moved to St. Louis, where her dad worked for an electric company and her mother worked at her elementary school.

Judy attended both Kansas University and Wichita State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art education and a Master's degree in Speech, Communication and Theatre.

Judy met the love of her life Bob Braddy and they moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she was an art and theater teacher at Azle High school. Judy began her children's theatre group with Reggie Nacol Milam called the Story Patch Players. Her love for children grew while teaching them to use their imagination and participate in the stories. The Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington, D.C. hired the Story Patch players to perform all over Texas.

Judy could frequently be found putting on her big ballroom gowns and dance shoes to compete for trophies in the Waltz, Mambo, Fox Trot, Tango and Jive. Walking away with the trophy was always great, but Judy had the most fun creating the memories.

Judy later moved to Wichita Falls, Texas and began teaching Speech Communication at Midwestern State University and Water Aerobics at Vernon College. She worked for Dance Etc. spreading her love of ballroom dancing, art, and held numerous children's workshops. For many years, she directed many plays and created set designs for a number of productions at Backdoor Theater, Wichita Theater and Dance Etc. You could see Judy's work in many theaters throughout Texas.

For years, she was a member at United Methodist Church and then was baptized and joined Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls.

Judy passed away peacefully at Hospice of Wichita Falls on March 7, 2026.

Judy was an artist, dancer, teacher, actor, director, world traveler, aunt to many, old friend, new friend and best friend. She was a devoted daughter to her beloved mother Myrna, with whom she is now reunited with in heaven.

A visitation will be held at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service to follow.
