Justin Robert Vickers, 42, of Springtown, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.  Visitation will be on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Texoma Cowboy Church in Wichita Falls with Pastor Chad Stubblefield, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Justin was born on August 2, 1979, in Wichita Falls to Joe and Janice (Moore) Vickers.  Justin graduated from Holliday High School in 1997 and attended Midwestern State University.  He worked in the oilfield for 23 years and mostly as a field supervisor, beginning in Wichita Falls and then made a home in Springtown for the past 15 years.  Justin married Kandra (Scarlett) on July 1, 2000 and they had 2 children that were the most important part of his life.

Justin was a devoted father and avid sports fan, particularly the Texas Longhorns, Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.  He loved to hunt and fish, but most of all he enjoyed watching his kids play sports and taking them to the deer lease.  Hanging out with friends and spending time with family was a big part of his life as well.  Justin was fondly known to many as "Jus", "J bisc" or "Big J", with the rosy cheeks and big smile.

Justin is survived by his wife; children, Aiden and Scarlett Vickers; his parents; brother, Joe Vickers Jr and wife Carrie; nephew and niece, Robb and Rachel Vickers; grandmother, Mary Moore; mother in law, Gayle Morgan; aunt, Teresa Hunter and husband Randy; cousins, Tres and Trevor Hunter; aunt, Lois Lutteringer and husband Darrell; cousin Clint Lutteringer; uncle, Gary Vickers; cousins Chad Vickers and Mandy Vickers; aunt, Barbara Vickers; cousins, Stacy Vickers, and Scotty Vickers and wife Laurie; and cousin Kalie Carter.  He is also survived by numerous great aunts, great uncles, 2 ^nd cousins and many lifelong friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.B. and Mattie Vickers; uncle, Johnny Vickers; and grandfather, Doyle Moore Jr.
