Our beloved mother, Karon Josephine Brewer, went home to be with our Lord and Savior July 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles on June 2, 2022, and her son Charles "Scuby" Brewer April 19, 2018.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 17th from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 18th with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Karon was born on November 9, 1940, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Rex Earle Fouts and Valley Fern Fouts. She was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls until she married Charles Brewer May 20, 1956. Throughout their married life, she enjoyed getting to live various places in the U.S. but primarily spend her adult life in California raising three children. Upon her husband's retirement, she returned back home to Wichita Falls.

She is survived by her daughters, Mitzi Veitenheimer and husband Charles of Windthorst, Texas; Monteil Sample and husband David of Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
