Katherine (Katy) Kramer passed away on January 28, 2021, at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Services will be announced at a later date.

Mrs. Kramer was born on Thanksgiving Day, 1926, in Orrick, Missouri. She graduated in 1948 from William Jewel College in Liberty, Missouri, with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English literature. She was employed by Newmont Mining in Fort Worth, and serendipitously encountered her future husband, Clifford Kramer, when they happened to meet in the office building's elevator. After their marriage in 1952, Katy and Clifford lived in Wichita Falls and raised three daughters. Katy was a past President of Cotillion Club, Ben Franklin Parent Teacher Association, and a Women's Forum member. She volunteered for the Wichita Falls Symphony and was an early and active of Wichita County Republican Women.

She was preceded in death by Clifford Arnold Kramer, her husband of 45 years, by her parents Melvin E. and Mary Dickerson Hall and brother, William Maurice Hall. Mrs. Kramer is survived by daughters Sarah Harmel and husband Bob of McKinney, Texas; Rebecca Friedman and husband William of Charlottesville, Virginia; and Alison Belknap and husband John of Old Greenwich, Connecticut. "Gogo" is also survived by her beloved grandson, John Clifford (Cliff) Belknap, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Katy will be remembered for the value she place on education, her passion for reading and precise grammar, a sardonic sense of humor and her excellent fried chicken. Her stewardship of Ben Franklin elementary school's "Fun Night" during the 1960's realized the first profit in the cafeteria's history of providing food service for that annual event.
