Katheryn Louise Masters, 90, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.  Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery with Kerry Finley, Jr., officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

The daughter of the late Mary Fern (Browning) and Jeff Braxton Williams, Katheryn was born November 2, 1935 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Katheryn worked for Merrill Lynch and later retired from USAA.  Katheryn also volunteered for many years at Hospice of Wichita Falls.  Along with her parents, Katheryn was preceded in death by her husband James A. Masters to whom she was married to for 55 years; four brothers, Braxton Williams, Joe Williams, Billy E. Williams and Glen Williams; also, three sisters, Daisy Weaver, Betty Chamblin, LaFern Williams; and two nieces Kelly Renee Moore and Ollie Bell Biggers.

She is survived by her sisters, Alta Evans and her husband Johnny of Boca Raton, FL,  Linda Williams of Burleson, Texas and Mary Dell Owensby of Lawton, Oklahoma;  her son James R. Masters and wife Vicki of Fillmore, Indiana and her daughter Rhonda Gayle Thomas and husband John T. Thomas of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren James R. Masters, II and wife Megan, Cheyenne Jordan Ayers and husband Zackary Ayers all of Fillmore, Indiana;  Jennifer Brown, Josh Brown and Jude Flores of Wichita Falls; great grandchildren Ridge, Cross, Cotton, Colt, Maxine, Evelyn, James, Lainey and Beau; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to her sisters Mary and Linda, son-in-law John, daughter Rhonda and niece Kristy for their endless hours of assistance, especially in her final days.  The family wishes to thank her in-home caregivers and also send a very special thank you to Hospice of Wichita Falls for all of the love and care given to Katheryn and her family.
