Kay Patrick, 82, passed away on November 27, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 10 AM at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. A private burial will take place at Chatfield Cemetery in Chatfield, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Kay was born on November 14, 1942, in Wichita Falls, TX, to Bert and Margaret Broday as the youngest of three children. She cherished her siblings, Buzz and Ann. On February 2, 1962, she married the love of her life, Bobby Patrick, and together they created a loving home for their three children: Liz, Laurie, and Allen.

A strong believer in community service, Kay played a crucial role in establishing Crime Stoppers in Wichita Falls and received multiple state and local awards for her contributions. She served on the boards of Crime Stoppers and North Texas Rehabilitation Center for many years and was a sustaining member of the Wichita Falls Junior League.

Kay was an avid card player and loved nothing more than spending her after noons playing cards with friends.  With a remarkable eye for decorating, her talent is evident in numerous homes throughout the area. Above all, Kay loved her family deeply and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her legacy of love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband Bobby, her parents, Bert and Margaret Broday; brother, Bert Broday III; and her grandson, Patrick Bedell. She is survived by her children, two daughters Liz Henderson, and husband Gary, and Laurie Roe, and husband Rick; a son, Allen Patrick, and wife Tracy; a sister, Ann Brogdon; and sister-in-law, JoAnn McDaniel; nine grandchildren, Greg Henderson (Kadie), Tommy Henderson (Simone), Ben Henderson (Matti), Ronnie Redden (Erica), Justin, Katie, and Ricky Moore, Mason Patrick (Erika), Will Patrick; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, The North Texas Rehabilitation Center, or to Crime Stoppers of Wichita Falls.
