Marilyn "Kaye" Byrd, 76, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on November 5, 2025. Known simply as Kaye to all who loved her, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family, commitment to her community, and a steady, generous spirit that touched everyone she met.

Raised in Charlie and a graduate of Petrolia High School, Kaye built deep roots in the North Texas community that shaped her. For 45 years, she and her beloved husband, Bill Byrd, co-owned and operated Byrd Electric, pouring their hard work and integrity into a family business that became a trusted name throughout the area.

Kaye was deeply involved in the lives of her children and in the community's youth. She served for many years on the Cunningham Elementary School PTA board, always eager to support students, teachers, and families. Her love of service extended into the community as well; she was an active board member of the Greater Wichita Falls Soccer Association, where her dedication and leadership helped support countless young athletes.

Above all, Kaye was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Bill; her children, Clint William Byrd and wife Tami; and Lindsay Beth Wagoner and husband, Michael; and her treasured grandchildren: Logan, Moses, Marilyn, Kolton, Graham, Taylor, Cooper Kaye, and Bailey. She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Pharries, and her mother, Oleta (Roach) Pharries.

The family will have a visitation at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 6–7 PM.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in Lunn's Colonial Chapel with interment immediately following at the Charlie Cemetery.

Kaye's presence was a steady foundation—gentle, dependable, and full of quiet grace. Her legacy lives on in the community she helped build and the family she cherished above all else.
