Kenneth Loyd Lynch, 92, of Wichita Falls, went to be with his Savior on Sunday, May 28th, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 2nd at Heritage Church, 2216 Southwest Parkway. Interment will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park in Vernon, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born to the late Vern Lynch and Opal Lynch (Martin) on December 31st, 1930, in Vernon, Texas. He graduated from Northside High School and attended Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corps where he was awarded Expert Rifleman and sharpshooter classification. Kenneth married Bonnie McGaughey in 1966, and they were happily married for 54 years. Kenneth was known for his kind and gentle spirit, and he was an active member of Heritage Church. He had a great love of history as evidenced in his vast collection of arrowheads. If you were around, you were probably sent home with a bag of fresh vegetables he just pulled from his garden. He also loved showing what treasures he found while out metal detecting and enjoyed a weekly game of dominoes with his friends. He was a man of many hobbies; but above all, he found great joy in serving his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren his famous pancakes.

Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Lynch and stepson Bruce Boyd; granddaughter Crystal Johnson and great grandson Gage Johnson.

He is survived by his children Glenda Johnson and husband Larry, David Lynch and Vicki Lynch and Marva Butler and husband Paul; stepson Terry Boyd and wife Sandy, daughter-in-law Jeanie Boyd; grandchildren Bobby Johnson and wife Joy, Larry Johnson and wife Angela, Lori McGuire, Caylin Smith and husband Michael, Davia Huber and husband Mark and Zach Butler and wife Nina; step-grandchildren Daniel Boyd and wife Kristy, Gabe Boyd and wife Emilee, and Blake Boyd and wife Caroline; Kenneth is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends who he loved dearly.
