Kenneth K Vance, 76, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Hospice of Wichita Falls.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Pigg of Crossbridge Christian Church of Cypress, Texas, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late Buster and Faye Vance, Ken was born on December 29, 1947, in Cardwell, Missouri.  Ken was a veteran of the Air Force, having served from 1965 to 1969.  He started his retail career at KMart in 1971, finishing his retail career at WalMart in 1988.  He then attended Midwestern State University earning an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology in 1994.  Ken worked taking x-rays until the fall of 2022.  He always enjoyed working with people.

Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing for most of his life.  He loved his animals.  He taught all his grandchildren how to raise and care for many animals. Ken always had a favorite dog.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Toby, Kirby, Gary Wayne and Terry Gene; and his sister, Janet.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Pam;his daughter Kim and her husband Tim Clements; and his son Brian Vance.  He was an extremely proud grandfather to Bradley and Charlee Vance, Lucas, Gracie, Zac, and Caroline Clements and great-grandfather to Drew Vance. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald and Gregg; brothers-in-law Mike Gilmore, Larry McCown and Brian Gottfried; and sister-in-law Marcia and her husband Keith Barton.  There are numerous nieces and nephews that have enjoyed many fond memories with Uncle Ken.

Ken Vance lived his life to the fullest.  He enjoyed making memories with his family and friends.  He always had a smile and a laugh for everyone. All were always welcomed at his table.
