Kitty Ruth Simpson, 79, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away on February 10, 2022.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on February 14th, at the First Christian Church in Henrietta with Pastor Ben Murray officiating. A graveside is to follow at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Kitty was born on May 27, 1942, in Henrietta Texas.

Kitty was preceded in death by, her parents, William G. "Bill" and Emma Jewell Lyde  (Leslie); her husband Jerry Lynn Simpson; her children, Jewelyn Simpson and Jerry Lynn Simpson, Jr.; her grandson Matthew Whatley; her sisters, Betty Ann Brown, Mamie Jo Roper and Billie Charlotte Petillon.

She is survived by, her daughter Shawna Franklin and husband Randy; her grandchildren, Justin Whatley and wife Jordan, Amy Knight and husband Alan, Sean Simpson and wife Erin and Callista Simpson; she is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
