Laurie Michelle Black, 52, of Kamay, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

Celebration of Life will take place from 5:00 until 10:00 p.m. on September 10 ^th at The Warehouse, 1401 Lamar, Wichita Falls.

A daughter of Andrea (Rizan) and James Artie Woods, Laurie was born on July 9, 1969, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from WFHS in 1987. Laurie was the co-owner of Lonestar RV Repair. Her favorite hobby was watching her newborn calves romp around the pasture.

Laurie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Virginia Rizan; and Harley and Opal Woods; and her father-in-law, William (Bill) Black.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Black; sisters, Jonna Woods and partner, Scott Fortin; Jamie Woods and partner, Keith Fisher; and Alicia Schmitz and husband, Adam; nieces and nephews, Riley, Zachery, Harlee, Payton, Ethan, Kaleb, Ridlee, Wyatt and Oliver; also her fur babies, Ranger and Callie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
