Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday January 6th at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Dr. David Hartman officiating. A visitation for family and friends is to follow after the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Lela Sue Burross was the daughter of the late Bryan Hutchison Jr. and Bettye Sue Keown.  She was born on May 6, 1955, in Houston, Texas, and spent her childhood and the rest of her life living in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Lela had a smile that could light up any room, and her heart was just as beautiful. She was a hard worker and loved supporting local small businesses and charitable causes. She owned her own small business at one point in time, The March Hare children's clothing store, and she loved meeting customers that became friends. She also served as a volunteer in the Junior League of Wichita Falls for many years. Lela was a very thoughtful person, and loved giving gifts to those she loved. Most of all, Lela was a proud mother and grandmother. She was loving, supportive and involved in everything her daughters did, and she always had a kind and listening ear. Lela found so much joy in being a grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. Lela was also a wonderful friend to many and cherished her friendships deeply.

Lela was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan Hutchison Jr., Bettye Sue Hutchison Beavers and Jerry Beavers.

She is survived by her brother, Peyton Hutchison and wife Carolyn; daughters, Kimberly Sue Judge and husband Trey; and Alisa Burross Ratzlaff; her grandchildren, Natalie Hefner and husband Brad; Chelsea Judge, Tucker Judge, Hutch Ratzlaff, Haddie Ratzlaff and Collins Ratzlaff; and great-grandchild, Blakely Hefner; and her children's father, Steve Burross.
