Leland Cullen Allred
January 2, 1970 – April 10, 2026

Cullen Allred, a proud Texan, devoted father, son, brother, and friend to many, passed away at the age of 56. His heart simply stopped, but the love he gave so freely will carry on in all who knew him.

Born on January 2, 1970, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Cullen grew up surrounded by family, faith, and community. He attended First Methodist School for Little People, Ben Franklin Elementary, Barwise Junior High, and graduated from Rider High School in 1988. He went on to attend Texas Tech University, where his lifelong love for people, storytelling, and connection only deepened.

Cullen built a respected and enduring career in the waterworks industry, a field that perfectly matched his gift for relationships. He began at PowerSeal in Wichita Falls, where he spent 18 years as a National Territory Manager, covering multiple states and building friendships everywhere he went. He later worked with ACT Pipe in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and most recently with Brad Greer & Associates, serving customers across Houston and Southern Texas. Cullen never met a stranger—clients quickly became friends, and colleagues became like family.

His commitment to community was just as strong. Cullen was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls. He served as Chairman of Grounds & Golf at the Wichita Falls Country Club and held leadership roles within the American Water Works Association, including Chairman of the Texas MAC AWWA Board of Governors. He was also a proud member of The Distribution Group, the Water & Sewer Distributors of America, and the National Utilities Contractors Association.

But more than anything, Cullen will be remembered for how he lived.

He loved music—especially playing his guitar, guided by a natural ear that made every song his own. He loved sunrises, faithfully sharing their beauty with family and friends, as if to remind them each day was a gift. He loved hunting, fishing and the lake, where he was happiest—boating, riding his Sea-Doo, music turned up, surrounded by the people he loved most.

He loved his dog Millie, his constant companion and best friend. He loved golf, playing courses across the country during his travels, and he loved Mexican food—especially the red tacos at Casa Mañana. He loved silly comedies, TikTok (much to the amusement—and occasional frustration—of those around him), and he loved Texas, deeply and completely.

Above all, Cullen loved his family. He was incredibly proud of his children, Hannah Grace Allred and Austin Jack Allred, and cherished his role as their father. He adored his mother, Ruth Ann Allred, and shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Catherine Allred Davis. He carried the spirit of his father, Leland Allred, in both appearance and personality—so much so that many would say he was his father all over again.

Cullen was also a man of faith—a kind and faithful servant of God, whose warmth, humor, and generosity reflected the life he believed in.

He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Grace Allred; his son, Austin Jack Allred; his mother, Ruth Ann Allred; his sister, Catherine Allred Davis and brother-in-law Joe Davis; and his stepchildren Thomas Wilson, Louis Jacob Wilson, Mary Margaret Wilson and John Wilson. He leaves behind countless friends, colleagues, and loved ones whose lives are better because of him.

We are heartbroken by the loss of our father, son, and baby brother. There is comfort in knowing he was reunited with his dad in heaven—just in time for the Masters.

Cullen lived fully, loved deeply, and left a mark that will never fade. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Wichita Falls Country Club on Saturday, April 18th from 2-4pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
