With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Leslie Anne Bradshaw Morris, 81, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, on June 10,2026.

Leslie left us while surrounded by love, after a brief illness. Born on August 24, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas, Leslie was the beloved daughter of Leslie Whitmore Bradshaw and Olive Amateene Weaver Bradshaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda Bradshaw Prince, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, grace, and an unwavering devotion to family and friends.

Leslie's journey in education began at Ridglea West Elementary School, followed by Monnig Junior High School, and graduating from Arlington Heights High School as Valedictorian in 1962. Her academic brilliance led her to Arlington State College, where she graduated with honors in just three years and a summer, with a degree in Business Administration focusing on Economics. Her keen intelligence and lifelong curiosity about the world were evident to all who knew her. In 1965, Leslie married the love of her life, Dr. Leon Morris, in a ceremony held in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, on the date their mutual birthday August 24th. Together, they built a loving home filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. Leslie took immense pride in creating a safe and nurturing environment for their children, David Morris and Julie Morris Brown.

Leslie was a woman of many talents and interests. Her stunning sewing and needlework were gifts treasured by all who received them. She cultivated a beautiful yard that reflected her passion for flowers and plants. Her skills extended to antique furniture refinishing, home renovations, and remarkable carpentry abilities.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dr. Leon Morris; and her legacy lives on through her son David and his wife Sarah Morris, and their sons Parker and Carter, and through her daughter Julie and her husband Jason Brown of Henrietta. Other survivors include brother-in-law Dan Housh; her niece April Prince Verret and April's daughters, Emory and Lily; her sister-in-law Rita Morris Vinson-all of Fort Worth; plus her close friend Carol Hayes Skidmore; as well as cousins and extended family members.

A service to honor Leslie's life will be held at 2:00 PM on June 19, 2026, at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, located at 2812 Midwestern Parkway, Wichita Falls, TX 76308. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life of a woman whose love and kindness left an indelible mark on all she encountered. Leslie's light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew her, a beacon of love, wisdom, and compassion that will guide us all as we carry her memory forward
