Letty M. Williams, 84, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23rd at Lunn's. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24th at. Lunn's Chapel. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Cleo Bobbie (Byrd) and Vernie G. Ross, Letty was born on March 22, 1939, in Wichita Falls. She worked for 20 plus years as seamstress and later retired after working many years at Winn-Dixie. Letty loved fishing and camping. She took great pleasure in spending time with her grandkids, and her greatest joys were the great-grandkids.

Along with her parents, Letty was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Williams; sisters, Marilyn Johnson and Charlotte Yates; and brothers, Jerry Ross, Glenn Ross and Jack Ross; grandson, Cole Little; and her beloved dog "Halo".

She is survived by her children, Teddy Williams; Jo Lynn Shults (Alan); Tyna Williams; Wendy O' Gorman (Pat);  and Donny Williams (Kristie); sisters, Barbara Buschman (Jody); Sue Gonzales, Linda Sanspree and Paula Weeks; brothers, Billy Ross and Vernie Ross; grandchildren, Dustin, Gerald "Tooter", John, Todd, Chris and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Eric, Taylore, Cody, Kortnie, Ellye, Callie, Emmie, Angelina, Creed and Elijah; along with many nieces and nephews.

Letty's grandson, Tooter, wrote these words shortly after his beloved Nanny passed away, "Tonight this amazing woman gained her wings and now is re-united with my Papa. Anyone who truly knows me knows that my Nanny is my every thing. This woman was my rock in this crazy life I live. I really don't know how to explain how amazing and just how much this woman meant to me. I never dreamed this day would come, and I just assumed that I would always have my Nanny here. She was a "feisty didn't take no crap from anyone kind of woman." But she was also a saint who had welcomed more people into her home and helped them or even raised them. There will never be another Nanny like you and there will forever be a hole in my heart from the loss of you. I will definitely miss my best friend. I love you so much Nanny."
