The family welcomes friends to a visitation from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Heritage Church at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25th with Pastor Tim Puckett officiating. Interment is to follow at Waurika Cemetery in Waurika, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Linda graduated from John Hirschi Junior/Senior High School in 1968. On November 25, 1969, she married Thomas M. (Tommy) Farris and embraced the role of a Navy wife for four years. In 1973, they returned to Wichita Falls, Texas, where she spent the remainder of her life, also residing in Dean, Texas.

Her four greatest loves were her husband, her son, her grandchildren, and her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Linda found immense joy in her involvement with youth, mentoring and teaching young minds through programs such as Missionettes at Evangel Temple and youth activities at Dean Baptist Church. She had a special gift for connecting with children, who were naturally drawn to her warmth and kindness.

Professionally, Linda worked in various offices and professional settings. However, her most fulfilling role was at the Justice of the Peace office, where she worked for Janice Sons. The relationships she built with officers, detectives, troopers, and deputies brought her great joy and fulfillment, as each individual held a special place in her heart.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Doris Lanell Watson Reynolds Elam; her nephew, Kenny Lee Reynolds Jr.; and numerous aunts and uncles on both sides of her family.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Farris; her only child, Brian Thomas Farris; her grandchildren, Kenny Dartanyan Kane Farris and Kaleigh Elizabeth Farris; her favorite uncle, Claudie T. Richardson; and countless cousins.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her, as well as by those whose lives she touched with her love and kindness.
