It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lindsay Marie Garcia, age 38, on Sunday, May 19th, in her hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas. Lindsay, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Born Lindsay Marie Miller, she was a proud mother to her three cherished children, her greatest pride and joy; she dedicated her life to loving them. Lindsay had a passion for singing and possessed a great sense of humor, often making those around her laugh with her witty remarks and infectious laughter. She enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and had a deep appreciation for country music. Lindsay was a foodie with a special love for Mexican cuisine, though she delighted in trying and critiquing all types of food. Additionally, she enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of OU football, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Miller. Lindsay leaves behind a loving family who will forever miss her presence. She is survived by her children Ryann Ashlock, Ella Ashlock, and Caleb Garcia. Lindsay is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Susan Kimes and Mark Kimes, and her father and stepmother, Jimmy Miller and Valerie Miller. She is survived by her sister Heather Preston and her husband Chris, and her stepsiblings Chad Kimes and his wife Jess, Zacharey Andress, Christopher Evans, and Alycia Cousins and her husband Alex. Additionally, Lindsay is survived by her grandparents Eugene and Margit Augustine and her grandmother Irene Miller.

A celebration of Lindsay's life will be held to honor her memory. Details will be provided to family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bill Bartley Family Branch YMCA in Lindsay's name.
