Lisa Crumpler, age 66, passed away on September 21, 2023 in Wichita Falls. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in the Crumpler Family Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. The cemetery is located on FM 1740 at the Wichita /Clay County line.

Lisa was a servant of her community. She dedicated her life's work to helping others and the education of small minds. Admired by her students and colleagues, working in education proved to be one of her greatest joys. She is remembered as being an active and loving Mimi to her three small grandchildren. On any given summer day it was not unusual to find Lisa painting something for her house, watering her beautiful trees, or jumping on the trampoline with her grand babies. Being their Mimi was her favorite part of life. Her love for life and laughter was contagious. Her positive outlook on life was admirable. Her tender and loving heart knew no hate. Lisa was very much an angel before she ever made it to heaven. Though her family mourns, her spirit lives on in a place where mourning, pain, and grief do not exist. She is happy and resting at last.

Lisa is preceded in death by her mother and father, Marilyn and Jerry White and nephew Tel Corsi.

Lisa is survived by her husband Don Crumpler; her daughter Corsi Donovan and husband Seán, a son Bridges Crumpler; three grandchildren, Layla and Shanna Crumpler, and Taos Donovan; three brothers, Andy Corsi and wife Gina, Tony Corsi; John Corsi and wife Kitty; a sister, Jill Corsi; nine nephews and nieces; along with eight grand-nephews and nieces.
