Lisa Renee Fashimpar, 62, of Wichita Falls, went to be in the arms of Jesus Monday, March 20, 2023, following a lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7 ^th at Lunn's with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

The daughter of and Frank and Nelda (Webb) Steinman, and granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. F. C. Steinman, Lisa was born on February 2, 1961, in Wichita Falls. She possessed a strong faith in GOD and read her Bible and devotional daily.

Lisa was a 1979 graduate of Rider High School. After graduating from Midwestern State University with a degree in Social Science, she began her career as a social worker in the Wichita Falls area. She enjoyed her work helping people. In her earlier years, Lisa played the organ and sang in the choir at Trinity Presbyterian Church. She occasionally played the bells in the MSU tower.

Lisa was an avid reader, visiting the library weekly and also enjoying the challenges of crossword puzzles and word search. She was a great cook and loved cooking for her friends.

Lisa loved anything butterfly-butterflies were synonymous with her. Papillon, her favorite breed of dog, is French for butterfly. All of Lisa's children had four legs. Pappy, her oldest, is in Heaven with Lisa now. Her surviving Papillon kids, Misty Mae, 15.5 years old and Teddy, 11 years old were the center of her life and gave her unconditional love and companionship.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents. She is survived by her father, Frank Steinman and many wonderful friends.
