Lissa Beth Farrell
February 11, 1947 – April 23, 2022

It is with a heavy heart that we announce our beloved Lissa Beth Farrell went home to Jesus on April 23, 2022, following a brief illness.

Lissa was born to Joseph and Lucy Ebner on February 11, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Lissa met the love of her life, Dave Farrell, in Galesburg, Illinois. They were married at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Galesburg on April 22, 1978. Shortly after getting married, they departed for Texas where Dave began his long career of service with the Air Force. Together they were stationed at Chanute AFB Illinois, Williams AFB Arizona, Charleston AFB South Carolina, and Sheppard AFB Texas. Ever the social butterfly, Lissa made lifelong friends in every place she called home and took pride in being an active part of her community. In 2017, Dave announced his retirement and they permanently settled in Wichita Falls. Lissa was also a very proud pet parent to Krissy, Kassie Anne, Maggie May, Jackson and Holly.

In addition to being a dedicated wife and a loving sister, aunt and friend, Lissa served as a military spouse for over thirty years. During that time, she worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and a Certified Medical Assistant. While they were stationed at Charleston Air Force Base, she volunteered with the Red Cross during Desert Storm to serve soldiers departing for overseas. In retirement, Lissa loved traveling the country with Dave in their RV, going to concerts and plays in Nashville and Ft. Worth, visiting family and friends, spending time with her knit group and helping others by volunteering. Throughout her entire life, Lissa held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Love, light and a great laugh radiated out of Lissa.

Lissa joins her parents, Joseph and Lucy; and her nieces, Deana and Megan in Heaven.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dave; her sisters, Barbara (James) Stubblefield and Jill Ebner; her brothers, Joseph, Charles and David Ebner; her fur children, Jackson and Holly; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, 2812 Midwestern Pkwy, Wichita Falls, Texas.
