Patricia Lynne Vandiver Robertson was called home to her Lord on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.

Born, July 21st, 1937, to Ellis and Celeste "Wessinger" Vandiver; "Memaw" to everyone that loved and knew her best had a knack for becoming everyone's favorite Memaw in the room!

Lynne married the love of her life, Clifton Scott Robertson, in 1958 at her parents' home in Checotah, Oklahoma.  Together they raised 4 rowdy boys, two of them being twins.  Lynne often commented on how much the boys "kept her young over the years and one day they would pay for their raising".  She was totally dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives.

Lynne graduated from Checotah High School in Oklahoma in 1955 and pursued a college education in Business at Oklahoma University. It is at OU where she met Cliff. They married on July 26, 1958, moved to Texas and began their adventures with the 4 boys, and ALWAYS remained faithful OU Fans.

Lynne worked for the family business at Robertson Furniture Store for many years as the Business Office Manager and Part Owner. Once they sold the business, she went to work for Optometrist, Dr. Joe Rupe.  Lynne and Cliff enjoyed several years of retirement down at their home on Possum Kingdom Lake, the hub of many family and friend gatherings, especially "Memaw's Christmases".

All throughout her high school Lynne was on the Honor Society, The Checotah Honor, in the Glee Club, Band and State Honor Society.  At Oklahoma University, Lynne continued to focus on her studies and develop her secretarial skills, participating in clubs, sororities and her musical talents. Lynne was always a serving member of whatever club sport her children played on especially The American League Colts.  She loved following the OU Sooners, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Cowboys!  At Possum Kingdom, she was a very active member of the Westside Ladies Club. But her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents Ellis and Celeste; her sister Shirley and spouse Fred Parman and sister Joanne and spouse JF Robertson; her Daughter In Law, Kelly Robertson; granddaughter, Gabrielle Robertson

Memaw is survived by her son Gregg and his wife Barbie Robertson and their children Meghan and Kevin Rhine, Samantha and Daniel Cameron, Colton Robertson and Hunter Robertson; her son Garry and his wife Lisa Robertson and their children Aaron and Seanna Greenwood, and Kylie Robertson; her son Larry Robertson and his children Jennifer and Matt McFarland and Walker Robertson; her son Brad and his wife Kerri Robertson and their sons Cory Robertson and Chance Robertson.  Memaw is also survived by an abundance of very adored nieces and nephews and special grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved very much.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at Lunn's Funeral Home.  The family invites you to follow them for a Celebration of Life immediately following to honor Lynne.
