Margarette Wright, 93, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on September 26, 2022.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on September 29, 2022 at Crestview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Margarette was born on January 27, 1929 in Forestburg, Texas, to the late Hettie and Marcus Landers.  She married James B. Wright on May 19, 1951. She retired from Albertson's in February of 1992 after working there for 28 years.  Margarette loved helping take care of her grandchildren and teaching them practical life skills, reading and most of all, working in her yard. She will be remembered for her strength, independence and the speed at which she could whip up a delicious home cooked meal.

Margarette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings: Eula Fay Cordell, Mary Lou Landers, and Eldred Landers.

She is survived by her loving daughter Darice Stone and husband Dee of Holliday, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Heather Stone, Hilary Stone and husband Corey Werner, and Zane Stone and fiancée Nika Tafarroji, as well as her two great-grandsons Max and Jude Werner and multiple nieces and nephews.
