In Loving memory of Marilyn Elizabeth Wilborn

The family invites friends to a visitation on Thursday, August 7th from 6-7 PM at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Marilyn Elizabeth Wilborn was born on May 5,1936, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 5, 2025, in Wichita Falls Texas. Marilyn was a woman with unwavering Faith and Devotion to her family and she had a passion for singing Hymns and knew ever verse by heart sharing her love of music and faith with everyone around her.

Marilyn is proceeded in death by her parents Marlen and Vera Wilson, her stepfather Grover Kirksey, her beloved husband Reverend T.L. Wilborn, her brothers Marlen Wilson Jr, Jimmy Wilson and Grover Kirksey Jr and one surviving sister Tolen Marie Wilson Thomas.

She is survived by her two daughters Debbie Hankins and Linda Tippit and her husband Garry and her son Tommy Wilborn Jr and his wife Cyndie Wilborn. Marilyn was blessed with 7 Grandchildren- Ashley Fitzwater and her husband Daniel, Amanda Nugent and her husband Kevin, Michael Hankins, Brittany Schumacker and her husband Kevin, Natasha Ross and her husband Stephen, Trey Wilborn and his wife Amy, Sterling Wilborn and his wife Vanessa. Additionally, she leaves behind 19 Great Grandchildren Caleb, Chloe, Caitlin, Abby, Andrew, Donald, Alexander, Beau, Oliver, Tucker, Hudson, Tripp, Baylor, Reese, Ty, Pierson, Klein, Remington and Stetson.

Marilyn and T.L. were married in 1955, after meeting at Southwestern College in Waxahachie, Texas and spent 69 wonderful years together serving in Ministry across Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and a Godly heritage that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
