Martha Marie Snyder, 84, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2024.

A daughter of Samuel Truax and Alice Truax, Martha was born on June 12, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio. Martha always enjoyed cooking, and even served as a chef for the Officer's Club at Sheppard Air Force Base. She had a love of sewing and crocheting. As she got older, she began to spend time with crosswords and puzzles to pass the time. Martha was an avid animal lover, especially dogs and birds. She adopted and raised lots of them over the years.

Martha was preceded in death by her mother and father; brother, Jack Truax, and brother Bill Truax. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Glen King, and then remarried and lost her second husband, Carl Snyder.

She is survived by son, Lee King; daughter, Cynthia Seymour and husband Earl; son, James King; son, Donald King; and son, Luke King; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dee Shultz; sister, Theresa Simpson; brother, Samuel Truax; sister, Nancy Bishop; sister, Sandra Glancy and husband George; sister, Shirley Featsent; brother, Albert; and lots of nieces and nephews.
