Mary McKie, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 90 after a courageous battle with dementia.

She was born to Thomas and Agnes Dial on September 4, 1932. After graduating from Hamilton High School, Mary married her high school sweetheart James McKie, who preceded her in death. After spending some time in various locations throughout Texas, they moved to Wichita Falls where Mary spent 30+ years as the VP of the North Texas Home Builder Association.

Mary loved spending time in the kitchen, baking cakes and spoiling the family with homemade breads, desserts and fresh meals from her garden. Her competitive spirit was typically quenched with a good game of spades or gin rummy. After retiring, Mary spent most of her time gardening, quilting, solving puzzles and keeping an eye on her rambunctious husband, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the epitome of "Sweet Little Old Lady" and was loved by all.
