Mary Ann Baber Tittsworth, 82, died on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at The Gables in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4th at Lunn's with Rev. Rod Payne officiating. The family will receive guests at a visitation following the service. Burial will be at 11:00 on Saturday, October 5th at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolf City, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tittsworth was born on June 18, 1942, in Vernon, Texas, to Dr. William Forrest and Grace (Warman) Baber. After graduation from Vernon High School, she earned BS and MA degrees from Texas Tech University. She subsequently received a DAAD scholarship for a year's study in Freiburg, Breisgau, Germany, at Albert-Ludwigs-Universitat. After a year of graduate study at the University of Texas in Austin, she married H. Clinton Tittsworth of Dallas in August of 1969. They lived in Amarillo and Alice, Texas, before settling in Wichita Falls, where she taught at Hirschi High School and Kirby Jr. High School. After an interlude to rear her three children, she returned to full-time employment at the United States Postal Service, from where she retired in December of 2007.

Mrs. Tittsworth was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls since 1972, where she taught children, youth and adult Sunday school classes and ladies' Bible studies. She also served on FBC staff as Director of Internationals for several years, sang in the choir, was involved in multiple prayer ministries and participated in a number of mission trips with the church both domestic and foreign.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Tittsworth was also preceded in death by a sister Brenda Callahan.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clint; daughter Sara Jones and husband, Kevin of Royce City, TX; sons Paul Tittsworth and wife Christi of Wichita Falls, TX; and John Mark Tittsworth and wife Laura of Burleson, TX; and five grandchildren, Sadie and Micah Jones; Wesley, Curtis and Evie Tittsworth.
