On December 19, 2023, Mary Colvert Warren (100 years young, born September 4, 1923) went to live with her Heavenly Father.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29th at Lunn's Chapel. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Mary was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Paul and Irma Beisel Colvert. She was a 1941 graduate of Classen High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Monticello College in Godfrey, Illinois for two years and finished her college education at the University of Oklahoma in 1945 with a B.S. in Marketing and Management. After graduation, she obtained a position with Humble Oil Company in Houston, Texas. After 2 years she returned to the family home in Wichita Falls, Texas to help care for her mother. At that time, she met L.O. "Ozzie" Warren. After a short engagement they were married in 1947. They had 45 years together until his death December 8, 1992. In 1995 Mary married Ed Meiers, an old college classmate. They were together until his death in 2005.

They are survived by their three children Becky Looney, Paul Warren and wife, Sheryl, and David Warren and wife Debbi. Grandchildren, Kevin Lewis and wife Joy, Kyle Lewis and wife Lois, Maggie Warren, Arin Warren Peterson and husband Howie, Gracie Warren Williams and husband Caleb, and Peyton Warren.  Great grandchildren, Nate, Jake and Josh Lewis, Lane, Cason, and Phifer Lewis, Maverick Warren Williams and Osmond Ryan "Ozzie" Peterson.

Mary's philosophy was to love and love to live. Mary loved people and people loved Mary.  Mary loved to be with friends and keep active spiritually, physically, mentally. She enjoyed traveling, Book Club, P.E.O., Garden Club and numerous bridge clubs.

Mary would like each of you to remember her wish and hope, found in Philippians 1:27: "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ; that whether I come and see you; or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel." Also, 1 Corinthians 1:10 "That you all speak the same thing, - and there be no divisions among you; but that Ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment."
