Our beloved son, Matthew Ryan Jones, passed away peacefully in his family's home on September 20th, 2025 at the age of 38.

Graveside Services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, 1800 Seymour Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas, on October 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. All friends and family are welcome.

Matthew was born in Dallas, Texas, on February 17, 1987. His childhood in Plano, Texas, instilled a life long passion for drawing, books, movies and going to the zoo. Despite his Autism he loved life and his family. He was a sweet and caring with a heart of gold and a sense of humor. He loved his pets and enjoyed talking about them with all who would listen. He continued to share this passion throughout his happy life.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester Frank Jones and his wife Polly Jones; Paul and Lois Davis of Dallas, Texas; cousin, Jonathan Stewart of Wichita Falls, Texas; uncle, Ray Davis and aunt Kathryn Gregory also of Dallas, Texas.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Barbara Jones of McKinney, Texas; sister, Sarah Jones, of Brooklyn, New York; aunt, Nancy Craft and her husband David; uncle, Tom and his wife Debbie Davis of League City, Texas; and in-laws Rob and Linda Wilson of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Lynn (Lynn) Cockrell of Fort Worth, Texas.
