Matthew was a much beloved son, grandson, nephew, and funcle (fun+uncle), a Christian, and a proud Eagle Scout. He loved his family first, then the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks, Harley Davison motorcycles, bacon, loaded baked potatoes, and his Granny's chicken fried steak. He was a 2001 graduate of Archer City High School, attended Tarleton State University, and was a graduate of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix Arizona.

Matthew was preceded in death by his Granny and Papaw Wilson.

Matthew is survived by his loving mom, Lori Wilson, his dad and step-mother, Ronnie and Kem Wilson, his brother, Burkett Wilson and his wife, Angel and their three children, Phoenix, Sterling, and Moxie, a half-sister, Christy Robertson and her husband Jake, his Nana and Grandpa Forman, Pa and Betty Brown, his aunts DeeDee and Audra Brown, his Uncle Carl Wilson and his wife Carla, and his Aunt Carlene Payne and her husband Leonard, many cousins, and his girlfriend Tonya.

A private family service will be held at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home chapel Thursday, December 17 ^th at 1 p.m. It will be officiated by Mr Roger Deerinwater, retired pastor of First Baptist Church of Archer City.

Contributions can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Boy Scouts of America or the Kinky Friedman For President 2024.
