Nettie Sue Sosebee, 83, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on October 4, 2023.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on October 9th 2023, at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Tim Puckett of Heritage Assembly of God officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Jesse and Vera (Massey) King Nettie was born on December 20, 1939, in Epps, Louisiana. She was a nurse for over 30 years at United Regional Health Care, formerly Bethania Hosptial.  She was a devout Christian all her life, and she loved the Lord.  Mrs. Sosebee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a great-great- grandmother whose family meant a lot to her.

Nettie was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years Franklin Sosbee, as well as her first husband Robert Smith; and sons Jeffrey and Gregory Smith. She had eleven siblings all of whom preceded her in death, except for Sally Brown and Ethel Ray. She also lost daughters Susan, Karen,and Daria.

She is survived by her daughter Pamela Mangum, Sherry and Charman; grandchildren, Amanda McAnally, Kassi Dewey, Melody Sue Smith; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Dewy, Tina Sisemore, Kacee, Joshua, Allyson, Rachel, Jacob McAnally ; and great-great-grandchildre,n Langxtyn, Aspen, Daxton, Greyson, Freya and Ariadne.
