Patsy “Pat” Dale Hensley, 91 of Flower Mound, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 5, 2026, following a brief illness.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13th at Lunn’s. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14th at the Burkburnett Cemetery under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Opal (Reagan) and Dale McAfee, Pat was born on October 17, 1935, in Bomorton, Texas. She was raised in Burkburnett and graduated from Burkburnett High School. Just out of high school, Pat went to work for the Burk Royalty Company in Wichita Falls, where she worked for over 63 years. She was active in the petroleum industry and a longtime member of the Desk and Derrick Association.

Pat and Homer Hensley were married on December 3, 1958 and had a son, Kyle. The family resided in Electra where Pat was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church and taught Bible study for many years. She loved to travel and took many trips around the world and the United States, proudly having visited all 50 states.

Along with her parents, Pat was also preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Homer Jackson Hensley; and sister, Peggy Lee Cozby.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Lynn Hensley; and grandson, Hunter Hensley all of Flower Mound, Texas; and sister, Charlotte Coffey of Fort Worth, Texas.
