Paula Beth Reed Avrit, 85, of Corsicana, Texas, peacefully went home to Jesus on July 17, 2025, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 22, 2025, at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas, with Scott Brazell officiating. The family welcomes friends to a visitation on Tuesday July 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 a.m. at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM Burial will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery.

The daughter of the late Mrs. Pauline (Bolton) and Mr. William H. Reed, Paula was born on August 5, 1939, in Grandfield, Oklahoma. Paula married the love of her life, Paul, on May 25, 1957, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Paul and Paula later settled in Burkburnett, Texas, where Paula worked for the Burkburnett Bank for over 30 years. While in Burkburnett, Paula faithfully served on the bus ministry at the Burkburnett Church of Christ for many years.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Pauline Reed; and her loving husband of 58 years Paul.

She is survived by her children, Tim (Karen) Avrit of Corsicana, Texas; and Kathi (Craig) Terry of Round Rock, Texas. Paula is also survived by six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; Kristen (Roger); Ryan and Abby Smith of Corsicana, Texas; Kami (James); Sawyer; Finley; Ollie and Elowyn Elkins of Round Rock, Texas; Kaelyn (Miller); Harper and Betty Moss of Greenville, South Carolina; Michael (April); Kanin and Paige Avrit of Cypress, Texas; Carmon (Ben); Ruthie; Jocille; Edenmae and Dottie Rorman of Wasilla, Alaska; and Joey Terry of Wasilla, Alaska.

Paula is also survived by her sister, Mary (Loran) Harper of Amarillo, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
