Peggy Cox Gann of Rising Star, Texas, formerly of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on Friday,

March 19, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30th, at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of

Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Peggy was born on October 26, 1931, in Des Moines, New Mexico, to Bill Cox and Lavada (Faver) Cox. She graduated from Archer City High School. On June 12, 1949, Peggy married the love of her life, Charles Thomas Gann. Tom joined the Navy, and they served in Rhode Island, Florida and California, and then returned to Texas.

Peggy volunteered at the Wichita General Hospital. She worked in several different fields, and she taught her children and grandchildren how to have a good, honest work ethic. She and Tom enjoyed cruising and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Laura Atchley and husband Royce of Rising Star; and son Bill Gann of Rising Star; grandchildren, Robert Word and wife Viridiana of Chula Vista, California; Tagan Gann Couch and husband Chris of Wichita Falls; Nash Gann and wife Cara of Wichita Falls; and Katie Clark and husband Dean of Abilene; great-grandchildren Preston McClure, Maddox Couch, Gavin Gann, Thomas Word

and Stefano Word.

for all the love and kindness they extended during her stay with them.
