Richard K. Smith, 72, of Wichita Falls, passed away on July 25, 2022.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27 ^th at Lunn's. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28 ^th at Lunn's Chapel with Mr. Howard Wherry officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late Grace (Michalski) and Robert Smith, Richard was born on January 20, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois. He was a long-time employee of Wilson Office Supply for 29 years. He was a talented musician and played in multiple bands including Sage, Stampede, Texas Boneyard, P.E.T.A.L.S. and several others over the last 50 years. Anyone that knew him knew he was a huge fan and stockholder of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed a trip to Green Bay every year. His favorite hobbies were playing golf, going to the lake, lounging in the pool and loving his basset hounds. His most proud accomplishments were his two children, Barry and Lori. He enjoyed spending time with family in the backyard smoking a cigar and having a drink.

Along with his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his brother Wes Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Shawna Smith; son Barry David Smith (Holly); daughter Lori Stovall (Chris); sisters Laura Webb (J.C.) and Debbie Lough (Wes); grandchildren Chance, Jayden and Noah; nieces Michele Newton (Brent) and Tammy Maldonado (Rick); nephew Dustin Moss, along with several great nieces and nephews.
