Robert Allen Walker, Sr., age 82, of Lake Arrowhead, passed away on May 19, 2026.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Pellikan of Asbury Methodist Church in Denton officiating.

A private interment will take place at a later date at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas.

Bob was born in Wichita Falls on September 4, 1943, to Robert March Walker Jr. and Lucille Young Walker, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Donna Elliott Walker; son Robert Allen Walker, Jr. and wife Jessica of Temple; stepsons James Snowden of Wichita Falls and Robert Snowden of Pearland; and stepdaughter Alison Tucker and husband Brandon of Stearns, KY.

He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Christiansen and Mary June Walker and wife Debra Stunson, all of Wichita Falls. His brother, Donald Walker, also preceded him in death. Additional survivors include his grandson, Sebastian Walker, son of Robert and Jessica Walker; and step-grandchildren Nathan, Irelynn, Colton, and Kian Tucker, children of Alison and Brandon Tucker.

Bob graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1961, where he developed a lifelong love of music while performing in the A Capella Choir, Orchestra, and Dance Band. He later built a long and successful career as a conductor with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after 30 years of service.

Among his many accomplishments, Bob became an Eagle Scout at the age of 14, reflecting a lifelong love of adventure and the outdoors. He was a member of the Wichita Falls Sailing Club and the Texas Trapshooting Association, where he developed lasting friendships through his passions for sailing and shooting.

He competed successfully in sailing events throughout the United States at the local, regional, and national levels, sharing many of those experiences with his son Robert. His travels and competitions created lifelong memories and reflected his passion for adventure, competition, and the outdoors. Bob also earned Texas and

Oklahoma state titles in trapshooting, a sport in which he excelled through focus and determination.

Those who knew Bob will remember his sharp mind, adventurous spirit, love of music, and strong sense of determination. No matter where life took him, he enjoyed being outdoors, competing, and spending time with family and friends. He was also a proud member of the WFHS Class of 1961 Lunch Bunch and served as the class reunion chairman.

The family would like to thank the staff of Texhoma Christian Care Center and Hospice of Wichita Falls for their care and compassion shown to Bob and his family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
