Roma Marie Yokley 96, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 when the gates of heaven were opened to welcome in the Lord's faithful servant.

Visitation will be held at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, March 4 ^th from 6pm-7pm.

Funeral services will be on Friday, March 12 ^th at 1:00pm at Lunn's.

The daughter of Oscar and Susie Harris, Roma was born on October 17, 1924 in Potawatomi County Oklahoma.  She married the love of her life Donald Yokley after only four months and celebrated their 57 ^th anniversary before his passing on April 14, 2010.

She retired as a bookkeeper from Longhorn Trailer after 37 years.  She had the opportunity to travel and enjoy life.  She was a very take charge person who always spoke her mind and could put you in your place with just a look, but had the biggest heart of anyone you will ever meet and a wonderful sense of humor. She never met a stranger and would try to keep in touch with anyone whose life she touched.  She devoted her life to her church and family.  Gathering for Sunday lunches were always a special time for her.  She was active in all church mission projects.  At the age of 95, she was delivering Meals on Wheels and loved caring for those in need.  She was an amazing women who was very active and still part of the church lawn crew well into her 90's.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her brother Roy Harris and two grandchildren Melissa and Christopher Foster.

She is survived by her son Ricky Yokley, daughter Kathy Rice and husband Wayne both of Wichita Falls, and daughter Carolyn Mathews and husband Kevin of Bowie.  Grandchildren Jason Foster and wife Tosha, Trent Matthews and wife Jessika, Nathan Rice and wife Marlene, Matthew Rice and wife DiAnn, Jacob Rice, John Carroll and wife Christen.  Great grandchildren Hadley, Layne, Lucas, Logan, Thomas Julie, Miles, Jeter and Joseph. Two nieces and three nephews.
