Rozan C. Franklin, 79, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12th at Lunn's. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13th at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Kermit Tandberg officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the IOOF Cemetery in Godley, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Helen (Stewart) and EJ Chamblee, Rozan was born on August 11, 1946, in Goose Creek, Texas. She graduated from Deer Park High School, attended Lamar University Beaumont and SMU Graduate School Banking, Dallas. Rozan enjoyed a long and successful 42 year career in banking.

Rozan and John D. Franklin were married on August 16, 2003, at Faith Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, where they were faithful members. She deeply loved the Lord, her family, her church, prayers and missions.

Along with her parents, Rozan was also preceded in death by her sister Rena Chamblee, brother Robert Chamblee and nephew Michael Griffin.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 23 years, John D. Franklin III; son Chris A. Sellers and wife Diana; daughter Sandi L. Pike; sister Rebecca Lycan; niece Ginger Milne, husband Chris and their son Alex; grandson Jacob Sellers and wife Taylor; granddaughters Averi L. Pike and Kylee R. Pike; bonus son John K. Franklin; bonus daughter Sarah A. Cook and husband John; bonus granddaughters, Taylor Laws and husband Zack; and Skye Franklin; bonus grandsons Eric Wyrick and wife Kelli; Davidson Cook and Adam Cook; bonus great-granddaughters Atlee Wyrick, Windsor Laws and Frankie Laws; bonus great-grandson Gunner Wyrick; and numerous extended family, uncle, aunts, cousins and nieces.
