Sally I. Rodgers ascended to our Heavenly Father on Easter Sunday March 31, 2024, surrounded with the love of her family.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6th at Lunn's. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7th at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas, North Red River Street, Henrietta, TX 76365. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Sally was born in Dallas, Texas, on March 9, 1947, to Minnie (Pat) Esperance (Crawford) and Otis John Robison. She grew up in Texas before life took her on many crazy adventures. She loved to travel and eventually lived in Florida, Missouri, Kentucky and Hawaii before settling down back home in north Texas in 2013.

Sally had a fierce work ethic. She earned a bachelor's degree in diesel mechanics and knew her way around an engine better than most men. She was an amazing cook and even owned her own very popular restaurant at one point. She also worked at a factory, managed a flower shop and a gas station for years, and all the while she never stopped taking care of her family and those she loved.

She loved God wholeheartedly, enjoyed laughing and had a great sense of humor. She loved country music, crime shows, making jewelry, crafting, yard sales, traveling and concerts. She also enjoyed visiting animal safaris, which made her so happy, especially the giraffes. She also loved playing at the casino where she often bounced up and down in her chair in excited celebration for even the smallest wins.

What made Sally the happiest in life by far was her family. She spent her entire lifetime caring for her family with every breath she had because she wanted to. She cherished every moment talking, laughing and loving everyone around her, especially her family.

Everyone who knew Sally would say she was beautiful inside and out, loving, thoughtful, kind, strong beyond measure and a tiny force to be reckoned with. She loved and was loved more than words could describe. She will be forever in our hearts and always on our minds...

Sally was preceded in death by both of her parents; her former husband Prentis Wayne Rodgers; husband Thomas Eugene Murray; and the love of her life husband Harvey J. Rhinelander; her beloved sister Patricia Ann Moosman; her precious niece Laura Denise Dunn; nephew James Moosman; and great nephew Zachary Ryan Robison.

She left behind her sister Catherine Newhart of San Diego, CA; brother Otis John Jr. Robison and wife Mary of Henrietta, TX; niece Trina (Moosman) and husband Jerry Vaughn of Bowling Green, KY ;nephew John Moosman of Dallas, TX; her children: son Joseph (Joe) Robison and wife Dana of Henrietta, TX; daughter Tami Brock and husband Jeff of Tomball, TX; son Johnny Rodgers and wife Tiffany; favorite daughter Karen Ames and husband Davyd of Tomball, TX; her fur baby "O.B.";  nephew John Richard Robison of Henrietta, TX; nephew Tyler Robison and wife Bailey; niece Tiffany Hoff and husband Brandon; 15 grandchildren: Randy and wife Brie; Jamy and wife Vangie; Joey, Kasey and husband Tyler, Colleen, Triston and wife Aaliyah, Landon, Rebecca and husband Josh, Braylon, Davydsun, Daren, Damiean, Dylan, Mike and wife Kim and Jerry; 27great-grandchildren: Jackson, Ryker, Hudson, Aubrey, Olivia, Julian, Isabella, Ivan, Tommy, Rosie, Keona, Ka'eo, Kainoa, Kawai, Kaia, Makayla, Katelynn, Trina, Riley, Nyckie, Brandon, Laura, Kehlani, Layne, Brandon, Ethan, Liam; and many more cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
