Sandra Kay Decker, age 83 of Wichita Falls, Texas, transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the United Regional Hospital. Born on September 21, 1940, in San Bernardino, California, to Robert & Doris Clouse, Sandra is survived by her best friend and husband, Rodney Decker of Watkins Glen, New York, whom she wed on September 21, 1968.

Sandra leaves behind her daughter, Vanessa Decker of Wichita Falls, TX, and her three sons, Ronald Decker of Wichita Falls, TX, Robert (Cynthia) Decker of Grand Rapids, MI, and Ryan (Lou) Decker of Wichita Falls, TX. She is remembered fondly by grandchildren Joseph Zaletel, Michael Decker, Shauneen Holt, Tiffany Decker, Marty Zaletel, Dustin Decker, Stewart Bartow, Jaci Madrid, Shelby Hardy, and 13 great grandchildren.

Sandra met Rodney in San Bernardino in 1966, and from then on would cherish 55 years of devotion. After working various jobs in Watkins Glen including Sears, Watkins Glen Racetrack, and The Glen Hotel, Sandra spent much of her life as a proud Air Force wife and mother including time spent overseas in Turkey. She will be remembered for her love of reading, gardening, chatting and hearing from great grandchildren, and asserting her humor & laughter whenever necessary.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, TX.
