Sandra Lynn "Sandy" Boyd, 71, of Wichita Falls, went to her heavenly home to be with her Savior on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

Sandy was the daughter of the late Carol (Lindell) and Harold Dean. She was born on November 9, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri. A few years after moving from Houston to Wichita Falls in 1980 she began her career as an office manager for Oncor where she would serve for 31 years until her retirement. She had an incredible work ethic and a demeanor that brought encouragement and joy to all those that worked with her and knew her. In her personal life Sandy found great joy in the simple things. She loved cooking and feeding her family, as well as feeding the birds in her backyard. She enjoyed tending to her rose bushes and quiet moments to herself reading, solving various word puzzles, and doing word searches. Sandy also loved the mountains and vacationed often with her family in Ouray, Colorado. While in Colorado she enjoyed hiking, fishing, and taking in the surrounding beauty of God's creation (particularly the mountain wildflowers.) It was in these simple moments of God's grace to her, that she found the most joy; doing the things she loved with the people she loved by her side.

Along with her parents Sandy was preceded in death by her father and mother in-law, Kenneth and Bonnie Lynch, and brothers-in-law, Jack Bosley and Bruce Boyd.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Terry Boyd; son Gabe Boyd and wife Emilee Boyd, grandchildren, Berkley, Halle, Paisley, and Charlee Boyd; siblings, Debbie McCrumb (husband Ed); and Jackie Bosley; and sister in-law Jeanie Boyd; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18th in Lunn's Chapel with Dr. Isaac Butterworth officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
