Stacy L. Parker, 95, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 12:00 until 12:45 on Tuesday, June 3rd at Lunn's. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. in Lunn's Chapel with Reggie Coe officiating. Interment will follow at the Bellevue Cemetery in Bellevue, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late Mollie (Meeks) and C. W. Parker, Stacy was born on January 27, 1930, in Claypool, Oklahoma, near Waurika.  Stacy had three brothers, Clyde, Claude, and John.  The four boys were sons of farmers that farmed around the Claypool area.  They grew cotton, oats, red top cane, and raised cows, hogs, chickens, and turkeys.

After Stacy graduated from Claypool, he attended Southeastern State University in Durant, Oklahoma on a full scholarship to play basketball.  While at Southeastern, Stacy was a four year Letterman and made Honorable Mention All-Conference as a Sophomore, and All-Conference as a Junior.  His Senior year, Stacy became sick two weeks before the start of basketball season with appendicitis and missed half of the season.  After he graduated college, Stacy joined the Air Force Aviation Cadet School to become a pilot.  After Stacy was discharged for the Air Force in 1954, he became the Principal and Boys & Girls Basketball Coach at Gold-Burg High School.  Throughout his 48 year professional career, he also spent time as Principal and Basketball coach at Holliday and the Principal at Booker T. Washington High School in Wichita Falls.  In 1962, while working an agricultural survey around the Henrietta, Texas, area, he needed a red leaded pencil and went into the Henrietta Drug store where he met the love of his life, Marie Spikes.  Stacy and Marie were married September 14, 1962, and were married for 62 years.  Stacy and Marie had three children, Kyle, Delana, and Mollie.  Stacy also worked the clock at Memorial Stadium during high school and college football games, the clock at MSU for basketball games, and part-time as an agricultural surveyor for the Texas Agricultural Department for over 50 years.  He and his wife Marie were active members of Grace Church for over fifty years.  Stacy was an avid golf player, a fierce domino player, enjoyed hunting, and always made time to watch his grandchildren play their sports activities.

Stacy was preceded in death by his parents, C.W. and Mollie, his wife Marie, his three brothers, Clyde, Claude, and John, and his son Kyle.

He is survived by his daughter Delana Lott, daughter Mollie Osteen and her husband Clint Osteen, Grandchildren Tyler Parker, Taylor Parker, Teagan Parker, Jared Lott and his wife Stephanie, Sidney Lott, William Osteen and his wife Madelyn, and Clayton Osteen and his wife McKenna.

Pallbearers will be Jared Lott, Will Osteen, Clay Osteen, and Clint Osteen.
